The Vision of Anita Charles to Reclaim the Nations of this World for Jesus Christ Continues to Ignite Across the Globe…
PRESS RELEASE : REVIVAL IN DOMINICA: The vision of Anita Charles to “Take Back” the Caribbean Islands for Jesus Christ continues to ignite across the other islands. In early February of 2007, Anita Charles’ ministry team visited Dominica where they met with Leaders from varying denominations affording Anita another avenue to share her God-given mission of reclaiming the Caribbean islands for Jesus Christ. A press conference was organized for Anita Charles to share this vision so that the entire island of Dominica can hear of the awesome plan that God has given to her for revival in their nation. This press conference was carried live on Kairi fm, Voice of Life radio, Dominica Broadcasting System, and televised by the Government Information Service and Satellite TV for later broadcasting. The President of the Evangelical Association of Dominica, Bishop Michael Bill Daniel attests that the presence of Anita Charles’ Ministries in Dominica was very timely, and therefore embraced her vision with passion. To this end, two leaders meeting were organized; one on the north-east and the other on the south of the island. There were altogether 300 in attendance at the leaders meeting. The presence of Anita Charles’ Ministries in Dominica has ignited revival in the island, as the Lord manifested His presence during her ministry with signs following. Sick bodies were healed, blind eyes were open, deaf ear was open, many testified of the healing power of God. This revival in Dominica has stirred the hearts of the people, and therefore Dominicans are planning to have Anita Charles back soon to join with them in continuing this revival that has started on the island. Anita is overwhelmed and humbled by the awesome move of God in Dominica and states very profoundly that wherever unity is…there will be victory. Anita is therefore making a passionate call to leaders in her home country …St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the other neighboring Caribbean island to join hearts and hand in working together in love to see revival their respective nations. Anita Charles Ministries is reaching out to the varying denominations of our nations as they believe that unity among the different denominational groups is necessary for true revival to be manifested in its fullest. Anita and her husband Dennis Charles along with Bishop Michael Daniel also met with the Prime Minister of Dominica, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit and other Government officials who offered their full support to the Anita Charles Ministries in advocating for spiritual and financial reform in the island of Dominica. Anita’s visit to Anguilla and St. Maarten was very successful. After her performance at concerts in St. Maarten at the Celebration Palace; and at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Center in Anguilla, Anita remained focused on her vision for spiritual reformation in the nations of this world. In light of this vision she met with Chief Minister of Anguilla, Hon. Osbourne B. Fleming (left), where she shared her hearts desire for the spiritual future of our nations.Anita was pleased to have discovered that the Chief Minister of Anguilla is a Christian indeed. Her meeting with him was quite exciting, informative, successful, as Chief Minister Fleming attentively listened to Anita’s quest for spirituality. At the end of her conversation, the Chief Minister affirmed and encouraged her to continue to pursue her calling and asked her to please return to Anguilla….An invitation that Anita warmly accepted. Chief Minister Fleming also shared with passion his love for the Lord, his readiness to meet the Lord, and also of God’s faithfulness towards him in his physical battle. Anita attests to have walked away from her meeting with the Chief Minister of Anguilla, Hon. Osbourne Fleming… with a new desire to share God’s with a new emphasis. Anita holds that she will never forget this meeting, as Hon. Fleming begged of her, never to forget to preach the “Soon Return of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
Anita and Dennis met with Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Hon. Dr. Ralph Gonsalves (right) to share this mission of spiritual and social reform in St. Vincent. They also shared their intent of placing the Ten Commandments in all the Schools, CIvil Service Departments including the Police Department, and other public places through out in the nation. The Prime Minister welcomed the idea. The Charles’ therefore infested the various instutions on the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines with copies of the Ten Commandments. The Charles' would appreciate your prayers for our nations and specifically for our leaders that their hearts would be turned to God, and that they would be bold about their spiritual stance…
